Welcome to our old world coffee roasting company and (future) bistro cafe specializing in creamy smooth dark and medium roasts. We began making these coffees when we had trouble finding the hearty and rich bodied flavors we love. Neither acidic nor burnt, our coffees span the range from mellow to bold with all sorts of comforting goodness. And though we are a small specialty coffee business, our prices are lower than our competitors'. That's because we truly wanted to share our love of coffee by making it affordable. 
 

How? We are guided by a simple principle: to produce quality without waste. We limit what we make so that we can make it both well and efficiently, easing the pressure on all of our pocketbooks while taking care of our employees. Our coffee beans are organic and primarily fair trade, our packaging is compostable, our coffee roaster is environmentally responsible. And because we want to give our employees a stake in the business, we are working toward becoming an employee owned company.
